Collection: Scissors
Scissors as a symbol of censorship are Neda’s silent protest against the restrictions in Iran. Her primary passion in the painting is life drawing, mainly nude women figures which are presented here at Meloomi in another collection, Veilless. She has never been able to exhibit them in Iran, so nude figures have switched into scissors, but they are still women in her eyes.
